Unhappy Wrong Filter

I bought an oil filter for my 2001 truck Friday from
the dealer. Is this the right P/N 05083285AA ?????

The numbers different than the numbers listed on this
site under FAQ. Do I have an "updated" number or is
this the wrong filter. It's a Mopar oil filter.

That's the latest greatest number. Good to go.

DieselCamper: Mopar Oil filters for the CTD's (at last report) are still made by Fleetguard, a subsidiary of Cummins Inc. They're just painted grey with a Mopar PN. on them and more expensive through a DC dealer than Fleetguard's same filter with the white paint.
If in doubt, Mopar filters are excellent to use.

But to save some $$$, I buy my Fleetguard filters through Geno's Garage... Their Fleetguard 4-2-1 maintenance kits are a pretty good bargain. 4 oil filters, 2 fuel filters, and one air filter in one kit, all for a cheaper price than 2 Mopar fuel filters.
