What size socket for MAP sensor

ok ive heard of people unplugin the map senser, and leavin it unpluged. what would that do?

Only unplug the map sensor if you have an Edge Comp. Otherwise leave it in.

The MAP and IAT are both on the drivers side of the engine towards the back along the intake manifold.

#7 is the IAT sensor, it measures the temp of the air before it enters the cylinder.
#8 is the MAP sensor, also referred to as a boost sensor. It measures the pressure oif the intake air.

The ECM uses them to fine tune the amount of fuel injected into the engine.
