what do these codes mean?

I pulled some codes off of my buddies 02 and found p1693 and p0216. What do these mean? Thanks guys

Very bad news. P0216 is the kiss of death code for the $1500 injection pump.

well being that the truck has only 80,000 and is stock, the dealer should fix under warranty correct?

Depends on the "in service" date that the 01 was sold. I just did a VP yesterday on an 01 that was customer pay. My 01 is done with warranty in about a week......and if there has been no drivability probs, I would clear the code and forget about it. I see the p0216 quite a bit. Sometimes it's bad news.....sometimes not.

Read your own sig! I don't think you have to worry about getting warrenty work done. Unless.....you disassemble the engine.
