Vp44 no bracket

Vp44 no bracket

I bought a 99 2500 and just replaced the vp44. There was no bracket supporting the pump. Will this hurt to run the truck like this? I'm no mechanic and it's my first diesel. Any advice would be appreciated

When you took off the old one there was no bracket on the end? If not, I would look for one but I'm not sure where you'd find one though...
