Vp44
Okay i posted on here about a week or so ago about how i thought that my VP was dieing. Well to my dismay i found out what was really wrong with it. Yesterday i was driving to work and i heard a loud pop and the truck started missing real bad i thought that the rear seal had let loose or something because the amount of diesel that i saw hit the ground.
There goes proble 30 dollars or more. becaue i had to drive it home also. Finally got back to the house and called my buddy and was about to tear in to it for the pump and to my amazement i found the fuel line on the one closest to the 2 oclock possitions was off. The nut was on the line and the line was popped off. Sigh of relief... I had to pull some lines but that was a good idea to start breaking it down to rest and seeing what is wrong with it. That made my bad week go so much better. 30 dollars worth of fuel is better than 1100 for a pump.

I have had the truck for amost two years with out a problem. Firsst thing i did was piut a pressure gauge on it when i got it and strait pipe. Other than that nothing. I asked and it was the original VP and LP. I have had to change the LP and got one in the tool box for a pair. nothing to do with the high pressure fuel lines have ever been done since i have had the dang thing. But thank god it was any easy fix.
