VP check valve
Will removing the check valve on the vp 44 cause it to loose prime? I want to pull it off while I'm at work but I don't want to bleed my system before I go. What is in that banjo that I should be looking for if I suspect it to be leaking?

If you're at work, you probably have an air source. Take a blow gun, and get an in-line regulator. The over flow valve should open up at 15 psi. If it opens below that, or leaks, get a new one. Its in the return line, so there shouldn't be any bleeding to do. I swapped mine, and it fired right up.

Thanks for the specs..I'll try it with some calibrated air tomorrow...
