VP-44 install/replace.
 

Are there any special tools required?
I'm hoping for the best but planning for the worst.
I have a few "Spares" here that I hope I won't need.

You need a puller to pop the gear off the pump shaft. Some guys using steering wheel pullers with good luck. I also find a set of crows feet and a short 2 or 3" 3/8" drive extenstion handy in getting the injector lines loose from the pump. Take the lines off as 2 sets of 3 and don't bend them, a 10mm socket to get the injector holddown bolts out will do.

Your also need a long extenstion to get to the 2 nuts closest to the block.
