Valve cover torque specs?

Does anyone know what I should torque the valve cover hold down bolts to on my 2002 ctd? I am going to adjust the valves on my truck, and got most of the information i should need from the tech section on this site, but it does not list this spec. Is it crucial, or should I just snug them down? Just dont want it to leak.

Thanks

I just snug the bolts down keeping in mind it's a rubber compression gasket.

Thanks guys. Just got done with the adjustment. Everything went smoothly, and just by running it, the engine sounds like it is running better. Seemed like most of the valves had clearances that were more than the .010 and .020 specs.

I just snugged the bolts down since I was too lazy to run back in the house and see if anyone replied. I will probably run back over them and just make sure they are at or close to the 18lbft spec. I think the metal tubes around the bolts are to prevent over-torqueing though. at least thats the only thing I could think they would be used for.

Thanks again!
