Unusual Transmission Fluid Leak

Unusual Transmission Fluid Leak
Just bought a 01 2500 with the automatic. When inspecting the vehicle I definitely noticed a transmission fluid leak and was very sure it was the pan gasket....no big deal. Now that the truck is mine I crawled underneath and wiped all of the fluid off so I could identify the leak and it turns out that it is not the pan gasket. The leak is actually coming from one of the transmission cooler lines that crosses the front of the transmission right at the bend in the line. I am thinking that when the line was bent that it was weakened. There is no visible crack but the line is fairly porous and the fluid only leaks when the engine is running and there is pressure in the line.
So do you think I can put some sort of epoxy patch like JB Weld on there or maybe do a little brazing to seal the leak? Maybe I could replace a small section with a couple of compression unions and a new short piece of tubing. I am already cutting a small section out of the hot fluid line for my transmission fluid temperature gauge. ( http://www.mcmaster.com/#5929k146/=dyuf8m )
Opinions?
