I walk out side fire up the truck which I just finished putting the VP back on yesterday (ran perfect yesterday) and get 3 blocks and start hearing a whistle and check the gauges NO BOOST. I pull over pop hood check all connections
(every thing is still connected) so I drive back to the house get some lights and recheck and also check turbo. I can't find any thing wrong. I'll have to wait till morning with more light. THIS SUCKS AND NOW I'M NOT WORKING TONIGHT!!!


Hopefully I only did something stupid.

 

Just a clamp loose I'll bet....been there, done that.

ps62-14 will be here tomorrow. I'm told it will give me room to grow and low egts

I'm nervous about the 14 housing.

So what caused the turbo to go? What happend, the impeller wont turn anymore?

 

Make sure to get a downpipe with it

Impeller still turned just made loud noise.

Pulled turbo and impeller was rubbing on housing. Ordered a sp62-14 to replace it and it was supposed to be here today via Grey Hound shipping (1/4th the the price of UPS) They lost the 2 packages turbo and down pipe They're trying to find it. But right now they're just making excuses.

I decided to change the oil while I was waiting and there was only about 5 qts in the pan, Where did it go? I hope out the exhaust. I haven't noticed any blue smoke and I did not see any metal in the oil. I hope every things ok.

I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens tomorrow.
