turbo noise

turbo noise

I have removed the silencer, but I would like a little more noise. My truck is mechanicly stock( minus the mods in my sig)

cold air intake is the single most effective thing you can do for more turbo whistle.

maybe mount some external air cleaners like then big rigs have, they seem to scream when they have their foot in it

I have thought about that alot for my exterior mods. I think it would look sweet if done right. I just haven't been able to find just the right houseing for the look I want. If I knew how to keep out water I would build my own

Track down a Scotty II intake, cut the hole in the cowl. That should make it a bit noisier.

you should keep looking for something, or fab something up yourself. I think it would look sweet on a dually with 22.5's and stacks

I still have my Scotty II cowl hole. Can't use the filter with twins but I like the added outside air.... and it is a lot more turbo noise.

Drill a 4" hole in your front wall, as far outside as possible, on drivers side. I kept the insulation and made a cover for it for long trips... to reduce noise. Can see the hole if you look close....
