Well i pulled the turbo silencer ring out of the intake and i noticed a lot of corrosion and pitting on the ring part is that normal or is there some thing wrong or am i going to have a problem. I just got it 2 weeks ago and I still figuring things out on it. Also maby related but the filter looks filthy but the filter gage on the air box says it still good. Are these gages worth a poop or do i let it be? Thanks for the input. Oh its a 03 3500

 

dont go by that gauge, get a new air filter ASAP. they are cheap, under$20.00. that dosent sound normal, mine was fine when i took it out.
