Buddy has 2000 dodge 3500 47re transmission. I drove it it will shift from 1st to 2nd fine but will not go to 3rd. While I was riding with him he put it in neutral turned engine off restarted it then it would shift to 3rd gear. Any ideas he does not have computer access so I am trying to help him. Thanks in advance.

 

the 47RE its electronic controlled. do you have any trouble codes?

 

I will hook my scanner up to it later today when he comes back to use computer and see if I can pull any codes. thanks
