For those that have used the Donaldson ELF lube filters on their CTD

I installed my first Donaldson ELF lube filter today along with an oil change for my truck. According to the installation instructions on the filter, you have to tighten it 1 full turn. Unfortunately, I was only able to tighten it 3/4 qtr turn by hand and I had to use a rubber strap wrench to tighten the filter the last 1/4 qtr. I lubed the rubber filter seal with oil so that's not an issue unless I didn't put enough oil on it. Also, I always wipe the filter mounting surface clean after removing the old filter. Previously I have used Fleetguard Stratapore and Amsoil Superduty lube filters on my truck. On both of these filters, I was always able to turn the filters by hand to whatever they needed to be turned per the instructions. I was just wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing when installing the ELF filter. Thanks.

Hand tight is plenty tight, since you oiled the o-ring and threads.
