Re:Thanks Guys

TE-44, I have the same exact set-up as you. That is about the best towing set-up there is. I think you will be pleased. I have the old VA without the boost fooler. I bought mine from an individual. I have no earthly idea where you can find one. Call some of the venders and see where you can find one. They should be cheap. The fooler should come with an elbow for the turbo. With your set-up you should need no more than #32 boost. Thats all I run, and it seems to be just right. Good luck.

Thanks Kimrey,The truck does feel alot better now but I can't use full go pedal yet,the boost is trying to go over 20psi and it feels like the truck quits pulling I guess this what feels like when it defuels. What is the max boost of the stock turbo,I was told not to go over 28psi.

Re:Thanks Guys

Yoour truck starts defuleing above 21psi boost. That is why it feels like it quits pulling. And with a stock turbo you should be able to get 32-35psi boost with a fooler.

Re:Thanks Guys

If you've been over #21 psi you have thrown a code in the ECM. When you get the fooler, you might want to go in and re-set the ECM to get ride of the code. To check if you have thrown a code, simply turn the ignition on and off ( without bumping the starter ) 3 times and look at your odometer. It should start to display some codes. Good Luck!
