Surging and back firing
Surging and back firing
So I just bought a 2000 dodge 2500 6 speed manual with 222400 miles on it. \
Have been having some issues with it.
First of all last owner had a security system on it that if you didn't unlock the doors right the truck wouldn't start. Fixed that with a fob.
The lift pump stays on the whole time. You turn the key on and the lift pump will just run and run.
We installed a raptor 150 last night and now it is acting like it is getting air or something. You got to accelerate and it starts to back fire and pump a lot of white smoke.
Any ideas?
