SP Diesel Torque Converter Controller
SP Diesel Torque Converter Controller
So my truck came with one of these in the center console... The harness for it is sitting on my steering column unplugged, because apparently the buttons on my cruise control are a little sticky and cause the controller to freak out.
I'm not so interested in having the whole automatic lockup. I'd just like to have a switch with locked and stock options.... I see no reason I could figure out the two wires I need from the SP Controller's harness and plug right into the existing wires I have instead of having to cut anything else up.
Now assuming my thoughts are correct, does anyone know which wires I need to tap into?

SP Diesel products are pure junk.....That is most likely why it is disconnected on your truck. They were so bad they were banned from the forum early on.......
I personally wouldn't hook that thing up on my truck.

I'm not looking to use the controller anymore. I'd just like to wire up a switch to lock the converter. I'm guessing a single pole on off switch would do it, if I can figure out which two wires in the controller harness are hot and the TC solenoid? Or am I over simplifying?
