Has anyone replaced their MBRP 4" muffler with a Donaldson M085171 (40" model)?

My MBRP is cracking around the outlet and, while I'm planning to weld it up for now, I am looking to make the truck a little quieter. I'm not looking for stock noise levels... just want to be able to leave the driveway in the morning without waking everyone up!

I have also wondered about the 51" donaldson... just not sure if it will even fit.

I would just like to know if it would be quieter and/or reduce drone in the cab.

i am also looking into the 51" donaldson, 9" diameter, 4" in/out.

i took a tape to the truck and it looks like it should fit, tight, but i think it'll fit without contacting anything but the exhaust components.

i actually have it ordered, it should be here by the end of the month . . .

i started a thread on the subject a few days ago - another member said it fits, but it's tight. also, from searching, i found it really quieted the truck down without affecting performance much (if any). once it's on, if the performance is hurting, just take it off and knock the baffles out . . .

long story short - i'm pretty sure either donaldson will be a lot better than the little MBRP that comes in the exhaust kits.
