removing the factory muffler?
Just did mine yesterday. I lefdt the resonator. The ends of the muff were slip fit, but the clamps crimped the pipes together. I carefully cut a slit with a 4" grinder wheel, thens spread the crack with a cold chisel. it slipped right off after that. I tried it for sound/loudness and loved it. I got a 4" pipe, trimmed the front pipe off the muffler, welded it to the 4" pipe, and then made a transition down to fit the tail pipe, put it all together and I absolutley love it now. I'm looking for pklaces to go just to drive it and listen to it. It's about the same at speed, but just a little beefier sound without the muff.
