Recommended air horn gasket???
Do you guys use the standard gaskets above and below the grid heater when making twice the stock boost pressure? I know my gaskets are torn up a little from putting in injectors, so when I put things back together, I just put a little black high temp gasket maker on them. I think it is leaking now because I still have a slight boost pressure leak and I have tighened all the clamps to the point I shouldn't tighten any more. That seems to be the only thing left and I know I have taking them off and black gooped them back three or four times.
Do you recommend just getting another new set from Dodge or is there a better material out there that is more suited for higher pressures?
Thanks, JWB

Well that is re-assuring. The gaskets that are on there are just paper and half came off on one side and the other half tore off on the other side. I knew the black sealant was a little redneck, I should have just replaced them the first time.

The dealer next door has them in stk for $5 each. I guess I'll go get them and see what they are made of. I was just curious. I'm sure they'll hold my measily 42 pounds of pressure. I just need to get the black goop out of there! I sure wish my local Cummin's shop wasn't 60 miles away.
