My Ram is a '98.5 with the 3.54 rear axle. Is a 3.92 ratio available for this truck? I've spent the past 3 days searching and haven't found one for a 2-gen Ram 2500 yet. If not, I may have to go to a 3-gen with a 20,000 pound max GCWR instead of the current 16,000 pounds. I would rather change the rear end than replace a truck I've had for almost 16 years .

Factory options for any 2nd gen ram were 3.55 or 4.10. Aftermarket 3.73 r+p gearset is available for your Dana 70.
