Raise in my "normal" Fuel Pressuer

After replacing my vp44, I have 2 fuel pressure gauges, one before the fuel filter and one at the vp44, and I have become quite the guage hawk.

My normal FP at idle as been about 17psi, however, for the last few days it has been 22-25psi at idle.

What might cause this? And is fuel pressure this high something I should be concerned about.

Should also mention, I also have a bigline kit installed (for whatever reason that's not showing up in my signature line although I have changed it)

You running a FASS DDRP 02? That's what I have & I have seen my fuel pressure raise some at times.....Most I have ever seen it raise is about 22-23 psi though....Normally though it will always stay around 19-20 at idle....

did the temperature change? from cold to warm? your grid heater might have been running before. causing a lower voltage to the pump, thereby reducing the pressure.

just a thought
