Priming 24v

How do I prime my 24valve?

Its actually a pretty easy process to go through. First off you want to make sure that you have fuel up to the pump so you will need to just bump the starter to get the fuel pump running. It should run for about 20 or so seconds. Then you will need to loosen the first injector line and start cranking the engine over. It will take I think a 3/4" wrench. Once the engine fires up tighten the injector line and you should be good to go. Hope thats what you were looking for.

crack line 1,3, 4. Once it sounds like it wants to start. Tighten them back up with a 19MM wrench. Then try firing it. It will knock and sound like crap but the air will get pushed out. If you are impatient loosen them again while its running till fuel comes out and tighten them again. Best methods after 6 injector RR.

If you are starting with a completely dry system, open the water separator valve at the fuel filter before you bump the starter. You should have plenty of fuel there before you go to the injectors. I always had my wife crank the engine while I waited for it to start, then I was ready with a wrench to tighten them up. Don't rev the engine after it starts. Just let it idle for a couple of minutes...
