Possible rear gear problem?

I've changed the rear end fluid a couple times from dino to synthetic and back to dino with friction modifier and I'm still getting a kind of grinding feel. I don't hear it but I can feel it. Going slow and straight I can barely notice it but around slow turns or going in a circle I can really feel it. I'm also getting a "clunk" from time to time when I make a very slow turn and then let off the throttle quickly. Definitely coming from the rear end area. Any thoughts?

Fill the transfer case back up. Seriously though, its probably low or empty. I had a grinding noise and found a leaky tcase.

You might try adding a lot more friction modifier and see if it goes away. You might have an aggressive LSD.

That said, I had a similar-sounding grind in my driveline that went away when I had the Powr-Lok installed. So I think my rear was not setup correctly from the factory.

I would try to add more friction modifier first. Do some figure 8's in a parking lot to make sure it works in good. I had the same binding feeling when making slow left hand turns.

Ok. Thanks all. I'll pick up some friction modifier and check fluid level in the transfer case too.
