Wanted to make sure this got documented for future use. I got a CEL over the weekend. Slapped the scanner on a po237 appeared. Voltage low Map Sensor. Truck went to half power (limp mode). No excessive smoke that I could tell. No boost on my pillar gauge. Went to my local parts places. OEM only I was told. Went to the *********** and payed a whopping $127.00 with tax for a sensor. Yes... I know now that was stupid. After searching the forum I found places I could get it less then half that price. Good news is it fixed my problem. I always like a happy ending. I just want to make sure somebody else has a good reference to this problem, and understand that the *********** need not apply.
