Oil Pressure switch/Oil Pressure Sensor?

Need some info on this don't know if they give me the wrong part or not.The Cummins book shows it has an o-ring on it . BTW this is for my 99. They were calling it the switch and in fact I was telling them it's a sensor. They told me it was the same thing. Is it? Cin

The 99-01 is a pressure sensor.
Yes O ring on the sensors and switches.

Just go to your local ace hardware store and buy an o ring for it.

Probably run all of 50 cents.

Old o-ring will be just fine. If you're still paranoid a small bit of RTV on it.
