Occasional restart to get RPM response
Looking for an answer/fix to my 2001 3500 Cummins reoccurring problem. It always starts perfectly, but multiple times when I start out, I have to kill and restart it for the engine to be able to rev up, almost like it is running in a "limp mode" where it can barely pull itself.but restarting it runs normal. No check engine lights or dash lights of any kind come on when this happens. The throttle position sensor is brand new, just over 200,000 miles on the truck. Anybody else run across this? Thanks for the help.
