NV4500 Clutch Problem

I just replaced my nv4500 with an updated rebuilt unit and have issues. I installed a new Valair 13 inch full ceramic clutch kit and have issues going in an out of gear along with clutch slippage. I replaced the slave cyinder and bench bled it with the master cylinger. I have plenty of petal pressure but still cant get in and out of gear and the truck still slips. I have to put the truck in gear and then turn it on to move it, but it creeps foward when i do that. I am not sure what went wrong; i installed the clucth the correct way, the clutch fork is with the part number to the left side lower part looking at the bell housing and the throw out bearing was centered on the pressure plate forks. Everyting was tourqed to specs. I understand that the hydrualics could explain the in an out of gear issue, but why the clutch slippage? Everything is new and greased. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Too much grease on the input shaft splines could cause it to slip if it got onto the friction area..

Did you have the flywheel turned?
Get any oil or grease on the clutch or flywheel during install?

Real pain about clutch issues is you usually have to repull the trans and do an inspection..
NV 4500 ain't so bad but the NV 5600 can wear a guy out...[dummy]

It was a 13 inch kit, so the flywheel was brand new.

I did not grease the splines, only the collar, the trow out bearing carier, and the tip of the input shaft that rides inside the pilot bearing.

Fixed the problem, I originally used my old 12.5 inch valair clutch pressure plate bolts, they bottomed out creating a gap between the pressure plate and flywheel. Took it all apart put the full thread grade eights with washers and it works like a champ now!
