Unhappy Need Help 53 Block

Need Help, Discovered I have the 53 block in my 2000, 2500 2x4 QC. I discovered this when I lost heat and discovered I was down 2 gallons of coolant. Well I found the casting #53 and checked the block on rear of passengers side. Sure enough It Is leaking. Truck Is still under warranty (barely 89,000 mi.). I need to find a good Dodge dealer in the Lancaster, Pa area.
Does anyone know of one in the vicinity? Have not had much luck with the one in town.
`I recently moved to the area so I cannot take It back to where I purchased It, some 400 miles away, he was a very good dealer however.
This truck Is used to deliver RV's with so I need to get repaired quickly.
I do have a DTT tranny in it and EGT and Tranny Temp guages. Do you think the dealer Is going to give me a hard time with these mods?

He shouldn't. The #53 block is known to break. I'd pull your Edge EZ out though before you go. They might try something with that.

If Brown Daub's Dodge service is as good as their Ford service in Nazareth, PA it is definitely worth the drive.

Up date Truck was sent to Dealer on Friday and the block is definately cracked. Dealer advised me to take it to a authorized Cummins Dealer in Reading and Chrysler will pay the bill. Just waiting for parts to arrive. Thanks everyone for the responses on good dealer in my area.

Well tell the Cummins dealer you want the "Storm" block. Just get the block replaced. My Cummins dealer said the short blocks were questionable, having been bored, or crank turned, etc. I don't know how much he knows about the situation, but I have to assume he knows what he's talking about. It's not like he got more money out of me for the rebuild rather than the short block replacement. He told me he was going to put in the "Storm" block, which is the latest design, and has very thick walls.
