need an expert's help

got a '00 2500 4wd auto equipped with edge w/ attitude, stage 3 injectors and stage 2 afe intake.

having issues in 3rd gear i think when reaching about 45-50 mph. tranny seems to shift early, bog down and keep slipping until i get to about 60mph. tranny was replaced less than 3 years ago.

had the shift timing adjusted about two years ago after 315/75s were put on. everything was great until just recently.

any advice?

You should be in OD by the time you are at 45mph. TC lockup occurs at 47mph, if OD is not locked out. The TC lockup will feel like a shift to a higher gear in most trucks, but soft if the TC has not been upgraded. If your TC is slipping in lockup you first need to check the pressures in the transmission. There are test ports you can connect to on the side of the transmission, but you may want to enlist a transmission guy to diagnose this. Tell us your location and we may be able to recommend someone in your area.

Are you sure all the linkage is on it and working correctly? I've seen guys unhook the 'kick-down cable', actually is a throttle pressure input, to get it into high gear early and burn it up from slipping.
