Got my truck back friday with my new trans and WOW. Apples and oranges. I love getting in and putting it right into gear and going, no more coffee brakes while it primes. I miss not being able to lug it in overdrive and smoke the cars out. It builds boost fast.

My last two dyno outting I posted two back to back 500rwhp runs and only pulled 38 psi of boost. Some dynos you need NOS to really get the truck to work. Just before I put the truck on the truck I did a couple warm-up drives around 70psi area, so the truck was making decent power. Twins with a large primary is at a disadvantage over a single running a bottle, on a dyno. That same day, stock trucks, with a tune and a bottle where pulling 700rwhp.

any more info on these. it looks like the nadp will be cheaper by about 300 buck but it is going to be 4 hours more driving each way so there are almost the same price for the dtt and the nadp still havent decided what way i want to go yet

Opie, what typical boost launch pressure you launch at with your shafts? I had DTT put one in my tranny. I want to test it out I had them put in one of your shafts at the time of the build. I have a 2000 rpm stall, and 3.55 gears. 33in tires. Thanks buddy

Which shaft was put in and when?
Stall changes with hp but anyways…
I left with 24-28 psi of boost to get 60’ into the high 1.50’s on 33” tires. All the shafts have been continuously updated over the years. If you have an input shaft I would recommend you to upgrade to a 4 hole style. Since my four hole styles conception in May 2006 until today not one failure. (Knock on wood.)

I was told it was the biggest and tuffest shaft you carried. I didn't care to much at the time. I want to run the truck at the track this year and wanted to make sure that I don't break something. I've done a few 25psi launches, but traction is quite limited and my tires just lite up.
