Exactly. Thats all I do. My road grader sits 2 years or more and I just charge, fuel and fire it up. people read way to deep in the simple things.

There are fuel conditioners that can help. Diesel does not go bad it just has the ability to grow an algae that can restrict flow. I used 100 gallons of 25 year old heating oil and had zero issues with no additives.

Thank you all for your time and the info.

and change the oil.

I would suggest..
drain/change the engine oil..
forget the fuel..doesn't yours have a plastic tank..so little or no condensate worries

do you have a fuel pressure gauge? if the filter plugs the pressure should change?

look..my boat a single cylinder diesel sits 95% of the time..its have a metal tank..
for the first time since 2001..this year it didn't start after sitting all winter..think 6-7months..i changed the oil, it needed it anyway..cranked some more..and it started..same fuel..same filter..and its boat used on the water..in a way more humid environment than your truck should ever see. yes..I've had the tank 4" deep in water..over the top of the tank.

sure different engine..but its a diesel anyway..with 2micron filters..

I guess what I saying..forget the fuel..the other oils..think about..and soon
