Map Sensor

I was told you can unplug the map sensor on a 24v and make more black smoke? Can you unplug it if you have a chip?

Don't know, but it will only take a minute to find out. Unplug it and see. It won't hurt anything, it would be the same result as if the map sensor failed.

You can unplug it!!! All it does is tell the computer that there isn't enough fuel for the air and will supply more fuel. Hence the more smoke....but I don't need to do that now with the drag and smarty!!! You can make just about anyone swerve round the black smoke that way!!! (He he he he its hilarious)

It will only work with a box that does boost fooling. I ran my Comp with the MAP unplugged and loved the bottom end power. Now with the DDII's it's too smokey with it unplugged.
so if you have a Comp or EZ i know it works. I'm not sure about the other box's.
