I have had rough shifts for the last week....thought my clutch master/slave was to blame. I got under the truck today & noticed pieces of springs hanging out the bellhousing. I can't believe the Luk only made 40k miles.

Looks like you had better start looking into a new clutch then.

Might try looking at South Bend this time.....

 

Yep not really happy with Luk. Had mine 1 year and a month.... went to a South bend Clutch, Very happy with it.

No....I am still trying to figure out why my signature isn't showing, but I have 150hp sticks, smarty, drag comp. I'm known as cummins724 on TDR....recognized you as a member.

 

I talked to Peter today & he recommended a DD 3250 NV4500 1 1/4" spline. It is a new design & uses the stock 1 1/4" input shaft. He claims it feels like a stock pedal. It will be installed next week & I'll post results. Anyone running this clutch?

 

Um, I will be tomorrow!, except in a G-56 and with ceramic buttons......... Same plate load though, and I also hear the pedal pressure is nice!

 

Let me know how you like it....I can't get mine till monday. It would've been $369 for next day air or $161 for Saturday.....I can wait till monday!
