Did all trucks ship with some type / brand of limited slip differential?

The reason I am asking is I only have 1 wheel that spins when I lose traction. Is this just a sign that someone did not get the friction modifier correct at fluid change?

 

Not all are/were built with the LS rear end. The modifier could be missing/diluted or the friction pads may be worn out. A build sheet is available from any Dodge dealer with your vin # or look on the diff cover for a tag. It should also be listed in your glove box on the sticker in there

 

I know mine did not comewith a LS. I added a Powr-Lok and couldn't be happier.

should also tell you under the hood. pop the hood open and look up should be a trim tag up there. will tell you if its limited slip or not.
