Lift Pump Again

Hello Guys, Newbie here making first post and learning my way around your site. I lost my lift pump this past weekend and have a couple questions. With the overwhelming number of pumps going bad, do you expect to see some sort of recall from Dodge for a better / bigger pump of some kind? My dealer had 3 to replace (including mine) while I was there. Is there anything one can do to make the pump last longer? This is my first diesel, but it sure won't be my last! Thanks.

Re:Lift Pump Again

The best thing i can reccomend is to install some high flo banjo bolts and a gauge to watch the pressure. I wouldn't hold your breath for a recall, they are just electric fuel pumps so they are not perfect. You can get the banjo's from wildcat diesel. Welcome to the site

What Cowboy said gauges, high flow banjos and pusher pump, check with Rod at Wildcat diesel, about pump replacement If D/C was gonna have a recall it would have been done already I think they are gonna just ride it out

wk
