Well I guess I shouldn't have open my big mouth,commenting on that thread NY to Texas,lol,well any how,went down to Florida to drop a FEMA Trailer for someone who needs a home from the hurricane hell those poor folks are still dealing with.Well when I was coming home had to slow down a bit then went to accelerate and truck acted like a loss of fuel,put the pedal to the floor and she kicked in,acted the same one more time around Hot-Lanta but we made it home,stopped at a friends shop and he put a pressure gage on it and 10 lbs at idle 6-8 at WOT,from all the posts about the LP problems sounds like mine may be gone,and I guess I cant complain,when I bought the truck they put a new one on,119k and now it has 227k.A new IP at 180k,Superior Diesel in Detroit,$1050.00,one year warranty,unlimited miles,I put that in this post because I see alot of people paying $1500.00 and more,their phone# 800-525-0164,hope this will help someone save a few bucks.Ok back to the LP,auto parts sells a Carter for about $150.00,should this Carter be a ok replacement or should I go to the Cummins Depot?

I bought my last one at NAPA and paid about that. It was a carter. Superior Diesel in Det is one of the best diesel supply shops in the area with good pricing and parts people that know their parts.

I just bought one this morning from the cummins shop and installed (old one keeled over on me.) I believe that the pump I got from the cummins shop is a carter $156 with 4 new banjo washers.
