I just wanna find out what this part is called so i can call a junkyard and ask if they have one, im talking about the bottle , cylinder thing that threads into your timing cover right where the injection pump shaft is.It has a spout with a hose off it that runs under the motor where

i just want to know what it is called techinically and what not

 

24v Crankcase Breather/filter is what I call it---not sure I've ever heard the real name for that thing now that you mention it----chris

 

The 2001 service manual calls it the breather cap.
You can remove it by twisting a quarter turn counter-clockwise.
