I think my truck hates me

Something new. The dang fuel filter housing drain started leaking where the handle is. Went to quickserve and couldn't find a break down, just the whole unit. Anyone know where I can get another valve or the parts to fix this one?

Ya ya ya ya, oh oh, YES! Normally this would be just a minor inconvenience. But I have way too much happening right now.

usually a couple of new orings will fix it.

I was up in the cold country last Christmas and mine started leaking, I figured I froze and broke it.
I cut a short piece of hose, found a small bolt that I plugged one end, 2 hose clamps put it on the valve drain.... quick fix, then ordered one from Genos.

Some day I'll put the new one on and give back the hose clamps I borrowed!

I'm not that lucky, it's leaking at the stem up top.
Got a couple more numbers from a friend for those keeping track of such things [laugh]

If you can't find, let me know and I will change mine and send the good old one to you.

cougar 09-04-2014 10:41 AM

I was able to find you, now I need to find the time to change it.

Yea me too, I hate buying parts, then look at them on the bench.

cougar 09-07-2014 11:11 AM

I have parts I stole off my 91 before the insurance company hauled it away. And its been a year sense it was totaled. One of these decades I'll have time to put them on my 92.

The new one I bought leaked as bad as the old one. Figures. Fixed it and it's okay now.:banging::banghead
