I have a 2001 dodge ram 2500 diesel
  1. I think my fuel regulator sensor is bad but I have no idea where its located can someone please tell me

Try posting up in the 2nd gen forum. You'll be more likely to get an answer. This is the 1st gen (1989-1993) forum. Mods might be able to move it for you. Welcome to DTR!

What do you mean by fuel regulator sensor?

What are the symptoms/codes?

There is no fuel regulator sensor on an 01.

As Alpine said, what are the symptoms?
