My sig is below but I got an 02 with a 47RE that is hunting for gears. Feels like driving in any gear and turning off the OD, at low speeds its manageable but at highway speeds its scary. Its not the TC locking up.
Ive changed the TPS twice once with timbo the other from dealer, Ive changed the ECM, the diodes on the alternator, flushed tranny added new ATF4+ fluid, changed the filter, and changed the governor pressure solenoid, there's no codes.
Any other suggestions or fixes I'm out of solutions. its been at the tranny shop last 3 weeks while we try to fix it.

weird as it may sound, when this happens with my truck, cleaning the battery terminals fixes it. And I mean REALLY cleaning them. the last time there wasn't any noticeable corrosion but the terminals and posts were dull.

All grounds were cleaned when I changed the ECM. All bands were adjusted and tightened.

well I needed the right dodge diesel mechanic for the job. It was the output speed sensor. Wasnt easy to diagnosis.
