heater core
Well yesterday afternoon i was going to put a heater core in my truck because it was making my floor wet. Started doing it and it took about four hours to do it. But the problem i had was my buddy was helping me get it re-adjusted and was pulling on the springlocks on the ac accumlator and it popped and let loose opps. I was cussing he did not get hurt thank god now i have to go get it re charged. My truck is a five speed and i shoud have removed the center area arround the shifter and the shifter it would have made more room but the bolts and everything that you have to take off is a lot easer than 750$ that a shop wants to charge.

750 to repair fitting(?), evacuate and recharge seems strong. Check another local Radiator and heater repair shop. It is not rocket science but do need to evacuate AC before recharge, Probablly good ideal to replace drier if in a cold climate area.
Just to do the heater core in labor it was 750 i was in awwwed by the price it takes me at most 4 hours to do it. my buddy i would like to kill sometimes..... But he is still my friend at the end. That is twice he has done that.
