Would anyone know how many gallons of diesel fuel the stock fuel tank holds on a 2002 Dodge RAM 3500? It was empty and I was going to top it off to find out myself at the pump, but my wallet ran dry at $72.00 and it still was not full!
The reason I would like to know? I bought some “Power Service” products, Diesel Fuel Supplement and Diesel Kleen to be specific. I would like to add the correct amount of each product to the tank before filling it up. Yes, I will bring a credit card to the pump next time I fill up!

We were gonig camping once and I filled or 97 in PHX once and wanted to top it off before we went throught the last town. Well they charge 25c a gallon more and then they stopped the pump at $75. I had to swipe my CC again to finish topping off .

Mine holds 132 liters. I once put in $99 worth. Could have went 1 more but it's kind of a psychological barrier.

 

A real gallon is 4.54 litres, a US gallon is around 3.7854 litres.

Like yourself, I find that US gallons don't fit in my tank.

However, that being said, I have not had a fill-up under $110 CDN since last year sometime. current pump price for diesel here is about $1.059/litre. Such is the cost of doing business. don't let the $100 mark be a psychological barrier, we all go broke sometime.
