I have had this kit for some time now. I went to install it but for the live of me I can't figure out how to remove the frost plug in the port boss. Has anyone installed this kit yet? Any pointers.

Where is this frost plug you speak of?

 

It is the open dipstick port on the drivers side. Not to much clearence between that and the power steering pump assy.

 

We used to use a cold chisel and knock a notch in the lower corner and then jimmy them out. You can also drill a hole in the center and then use a dent puller but this is better for teardown rather than on a running engine.
