I just need the bushing that goes on the end of the shifter rod and
sits in the shift socket. It is shaped like a cup and goes over the
ball on the shift rod. Even if you can't part with one can you give
me the dimensions so I can have one made. Thanks.

Have you gone to your local Dodge dealer for this part? I keep reading on here that They dont make this and that for that trans anylonger but your truck is only 5 yrs old. Even if they dont offer the trans any longer parts support for production vehicles is 10 to 12 years at least.
If a manufacturer does this crap it makes their product less desireable to buyers. I need 15 trucks for my cable tv bizz. I dont want Dodges because I cant get parts after a few years and that means they are a poor investment...maybe Ill buy Chevys or Fords. I can get 10 or more years out of those....see what I mean? It doesnt make sense.
Im gonna look into this today. Once some years ago I was told at the parts counter that a particular part for a Ford trans was obsolete and no longer available while at the same moment they were off loading new Crowns out front that had the same trans. Something was wrong. Turns it was a mistake in the parts info. Took a couple phone calls but I got parts and an apology.

You might want to try contacting http://www.magnadrivetrain.com/ they took over NVG they list a number to call for parts. Phone: +1 248-680—4931

Last year I had an issue as I managed to loose that part. I called NVG they wouldn't sell to me but gave me a number for a distrubitor I don't have the number anymore. They didn't sell that part by itself I had to buy the entire shift tower but it was a lot cheaper through them than from a Dodge dealer.

No point in getting a short shift kit that part wasn't inculded when I got mine anyways.
