Died today then restarted
 

cel came on codes P1693, P1291, P0720. Driving down the freeway when the truck started to stutter around 20 MPH as traffic was stopping. Picked up again and then died. Threw into neutral and restarted drove about 20 miles home no problem. cel was on the entire time and the above codes were present. Would the P0720 output speed sensor circuit cause the truck to stall? It almost seemed like there was an air pocket in the fuel line. I have recently changed the fuel filter and the fuel pressure never went below 15 pounds the entire time. Thoughts gentlemen.:(

I replaced the output speed sensor on the transmission, problem fixed. I figured that the reason I stalled is because this sensor was not letting the truck come out of overdrive and it was like having the clutch out and coming to a complete stop. Even though I have an automatic the sensor would not let the truck out of high gear. Anyway $28.00 for the switch.
