CPS?

Truck has a "lopey" idle. Tachometer is not working. When tach does start to work the engine kinda bumps up a little. Camshaft Posistioning Sensor? Pulled code 1596 but it is not on "BAT Autos" code list.

I wish my truck had a lopey idle. ;D The CPS may be it. I think the vehicle speed sensor or something like that, I can't remember what, would cause the tach and everything else to quit working. Is your speedo still working?

Speedo working fine. The Vehicle speed senor, is that the one on the OD unit?

Replaced CPS last note. Idle is smooth, tach is working. Hessitation @ 30 and 50 @ low RPM is also gone. Best $ 60 repair so far.
