Codes?
 

:confused:How do you get the codes? Do you sequence the key a certain way? And when you do it.. what should it say if everything is normal? Thanks in advance.

put the key in the ignition and turn it on and off three times (never starting the truck or turning it over) look where the odometer is that is where your codes will come up have pen and paper ready they go pretty fast. I believe they will start with the letter P and when it's done it reads done. Take care!

I have found a p1693 code in mine. Where can I find the OBD-II connector so that I can clear the code?

I'm not sure where to find that but if you disconnect the battery for 15-30min. that should clear the code..........if it's fixed. Take care

Not all codes will be cleared by disconnecting the battery. Some will require a scanner to clear. All ODB 2 connectors are within the passenger compartment within 2 feet of the steering column.
