chirp'ing?
It is normal. Dodge and Cummins says it is from the engine stopping faster then the drive belt. Not for sure if that is possible but that is what I have been told. That is the noise you are hearing. Mine does it too.
Normal, I got tired of people telling me that I "need to get a new belt on there".
I researched it and it is the acessories running after the quick halt of the the diesel engine. I have also heard of people making it a little quiter with belt dressing spay.

A new belt can usually make the chirp go away for awhile......when the belt ages, it hardens and glazes over slightly causing it to lose a bit of traction on the pulleys.....when shutting down, the accessories literally won't come to a halt as fast as the motor so you hear the belt let out a chirp. If you are that concerned, remove the belt and inspect it.....but from my experience, the belt will have tons of life left in it after it begins to chirp.

Did you add a link to another website in your sig? If so, it may have had advertising on it? I don't know.....what did you have there? If the link led to some advertising, that would have been considered a site violation.
