Unhappy Checked my fuel pressure today...

Bought a guage and checked the pressure at idle. 11 psi. It is only a test guage and I could not check the pressure for cruising and WOT. Should I be worried about the 11 lbs that I see at idle? I know its not supposed to ever go below 10 psi. The engine runs great. Should I go get a new lift pump just to be sure?

I put my gauge in last week and I idle at 14 and about 10 running down the highway. I don't know about WOT but I will find out this weekend when I take my 5th on it's first long haul

These reading that I got just prompted me too buy a FP guage and the high flow banjos from Wildcat Diesel. Once I get the guage in I will know for sure.

After dealing with the banjos I just decided to scrap the whole banjo fitting garbage and use their max flow kit...

I've never dealt with a banjo system using anything but copper crush washers and I dont intend to.

You gonna link to that pic after every post from now on?

Just shrink it down and beg Jack to let you use it as an avatar.

I just tested my 01' --I hooked up pre filter and at idle it read 9.75, at 3000 rpm it read about 7.25. Any suggestions for me?

If you read 7.25 at 300 rpm just revving it up, It most likely is less than 5 on the road. Get the LP replaced soon.

Dieseldude4x4 , you just about got me convinced.
